To combat this phenomenon since 1989, “Cesvi Foundation” works in the heart of the lung of the planet, in the region of Madre de Dios, to improve the living conditions of native communities and to ensure the protection and conservation of eco-systems and their wealth.

The absolute protagonist of the intervention is the Amazonian walnut, a secular tree that captures huge amounts of C02, also considered a “Super Food” thanks to its nutritional properties and for this reason requested a lot by the market.

“Fondazione Cesvi” supports binder associations to obtain a fair selling price for the product, supports processing factories and spreads agro-forestry practices that preserve the forest integrity necessary for the survival of the Amazonian walnut tree.

Thanks to these interventions Cesvi Foundation protects about 25.000 hectares of the forest supporting the development of native communities, helps to generate an important source of income for indigenous families, protects the forest and the entire ecosystem by absorbing a huge amount of carbon dioxide and contributing to the reduction of pollution.

Madal supports “Cesvi Foundation” and the “Environmental Friendly Company 2021 program” (Azienda amica del Pianeta 2021) by helping to protect and plant Amazonian walnut trees and becoming Guardian of the Forest.
