LIFE IN GREEN

Quality and Sustainability

The Project

Since our foundation we have been particularly sensitive to environmental issues, convinced that the environment we want to leave to our children can be better than what we are in today.

To realize this idea,  “Life in Green” project was born, an idea of eco-sustainable development that combines chemistry and ecology while respecting corporate profitability.

The objective of this project is to progressively and economically reduce the impact that the company has on the environment, through a series of targeted choices.

.

  • Use of recycled plastic bottles and jerricans up to 100%, with the aim of significantly reducing the amount of fossil virgin plastic used in our packaging;

  • Development of concentrated detergents to be able to work with smaller quantities of product and consequently to save materials used for packaging, water and with a lower impact on transport;

  • Use of non-toxic raw materials for humans that are not likely to cause serious damage to health by prolonged exposure;

  • Formulations containing surfactants with biodegradability below the limits required by Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 about detergents;

  • Increased use of raw materials of plant origin, preferably RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) for sustainable use of palm oil;

  • Implementation of quality and environmental sustainability systems to optimize production processes, planned through environmental certification ISO 14001;

  • Increase the references of the line of products with the Ecolabel symbol, the European Union’s eco-label;

  • Sviluppo di detergenti concentrati per poter lavorare con minori quantità di prodotto e di conseguenza risparmiare materiali utilizzati per il packaging, acqua e con una minore incidenza sul trasporto;
  • Utilizzo di materie prime non tossiche per le persone e che non possano provocare gravi danni per la salute in caso di esposizioni prolungate;
  • Formulations containing surfactants with biodegradability below the limits required by Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 about detergents;

  • Increased use of raw materials of plant origin, preferably RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) for sustainable use of palm oil;

  • Implementation of quality and environmental sustainability systems to optimize production processes, planned through environmental certification ISO 14001;

  • Increase the references of the line of products with the Ecolabel symbol, the European Union’s eco-label;

  • The production of an increasing number of references conforming to the C.A.M. (Minimum Environmental Criteria), eliminating from these formulations raw materials such as EDTA, NTA, ethoxylated alkylphenols (APEO), nitrogenous mosses, polycyclic mosses and formaldehyde. In addition, by reducing the allergen content of perfumes, the quantities of phosphorus and VOC (volatile organic compounds);

  • System of recovery of washing water resulting from the production and packaging, with the recycling, storage and reuse of the water.
